Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at Akagera National Park
Today you will to eastern Rwanda into Akagera National Park after a briefing regarding this safari. You will enjoy a game drive in the Afternoon to see the various animals like elephants, giraffes, spotted hyenas, crocodiles, buffaloes and hippos plus various birds. Dine and overnight at Dereva Hotel or Akagera Safari Lodge.

Day 2: Canoe Ride or Game Drive
Following breakfast, you can choose to enjoy an early game drive or have a canoe ride on the beautiful Lake Ihema to marvel at the large groups of hippos, the giant Nile crocodiles and the array of birds. You will later return to Kigali.
