3 Days Rwanda Chimps Trekking

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Nyungwe Forest
You will be welcomed by one of our guides with whom you will continue to Nyungwe Forest National Park. On arrival you may opt for a nature walk in the company of a guide. Dine and sleep at Gisakura Guest House

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking
Wake up early to start chimp trekking. This activity can last for just one hour to even the entire day basing on how far the chimps are. However it should be noted that seeing the chimps is not a guarantee because they are quite unpredictable and traverse long distances in just a day. Nevertheless the forest has other primate species like the L’Hoest’s monkey, Owl faced monkey, Grey-cheeked Mangabey, Rwenzori colobus and the Silver monkey. Dine and sleep at Gisakura

Day 3: Departure
Return to the capital Kigali for a tour through the city visiting the genocide memorial, the African art plus crafts stores and so many others. Head for your return flight at Kigali International Airport
